Hey, Friends,...The war is on.
Today,
One of my best friend sent an International Quality document for review, to the Managers.
Then, in that 400 pages document. She got just one comment.
The Chinese employee - who is manage and reviewer for this document.
just updated one line, where-ever in document she referred Taiwan Manager/reviewer changes it to China-Taiwan.
This was the only review comment.
Now,...
She had a great concern, how come manager changed Taiwan to China-Taiwan.
Then, she called a meeting for clarification.
In meeting people involved (including Japanese and Indian document author) had a big fight.
reviewer emphasized that Taiwan is China-Taiwan.
While author fought that,..it could be in your thoughts only. but not for rest of the world.
We will not change Taiwan to China-Taiwan.
Finally,...
Japanese supported and it remains as "Taiwan".
Its unfortunate, but no matters.
that same reviewer/manager has to do her performance appraisal next week.
